Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday! I love everything about it…the food, the food and the food. Just kidding. While I do love the delicious food thanksgiving brings I love the meaning of the holiday.
A time to reflect on EVERYTHING we have to be thankful for. Often, it’s so much easier to focus on the negative things that are happening in our life and we forget to realize how blessed we are. I am quite possibly the most blessed woman alive.
I’m married to a man I love and admire, together we have the sweetest little boy in the world, wonderful extended family, delicious nourishing food at our table and I get to spend my time sharing things that matter to me with all of you on this blog!!!
Ok that was a bit of a tangent buuuuut today I have an awesome cocktail to share with. You know a lot of cocktails mixes contain really nasty ingredients, red dye you can see why I hate that so much here and high fructose corn syrup (bleh). Making a delicious real food cocktail is easy and rewarding!
More importantly than the delicious recipe below, I’d love to know what you are thankful for this Thanksgiving. Share with me in the comments below. Also don’t forget that the best way to keep up with me is over at my facebook page if you haven’t liked my page yet click here.
